Exploring our Cannonball Moments: Version 2.0
In Version 1.0 of our exploring, witnesses from around the world shared experiences that changed the course of their lives, in the way St. Ignatius’ experienced his conversion of life when a cannonball shattered not only his leg, but the life he had planned for himself. The experiences our Version 1.0 witnesses shared were much more ‘positive’ than ‘negative’ in that their awakening came through new learnings and inner understandings, rather than by trying and troubling circumstances, like Ignatius’ physical injury.
In our Version 2.0 exploration, we will reflect on how even our painful and difficult experiences have led us to greater experiences of grace, wisdom, blessing, and conversion. Participation in the Version 1.0 session is not a prerequisite for this 2.0 session; all are welcome.
