Desiring to Grow in Your Relationship with God? Looking for Inspiration?
Come and See! what the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, Retreat in Every Day Life, has to offer!
Join us at Emmaus House on Thursday, June 30th for prayer and a brief overview of the Retreat in Everyday Life ( Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola). This one hour program will look briefly at St. Ignatius Loyola’s conversion experience, how he came to found the Society of Jesus—the Jesuits, and how he grew in intimate friendship with God through the Spiritual Exercises—living a Retreat In Everyday Life.
This evening offers an opportunity to Come and See what this journeying through the entire Spiritual Exercises over the course of 32 weeks consists of—including daily personal prayer, meeting as a group once a week, and meeting one-on-one for private Spiritual Direction twice a month for 45-60 minutes.
If you are wondering if this is the right time for you to live this experience, or if you want to hear about other ways to expand your prayer life, spend an hour with us at The Emmaus House,1521 Center Street, Des Moines, on Thursday, June 30th, from 6 to 7 pm.
