Ukraine: The War Drags On
Join us at Emmaus House on September 14th as Fr. Jim Kirby shares stories and photographs from his third trip to Ukraine.
Please see below for additional information and to RSVP.
"The horrible war in Ukraine continues. The Ukrainian people are tired but resilient. I recently returned from my third trip to Ukraine since the war started and as with each trip there, I meet amazing people, doing herculean things everyday. There is constant need for support physically, mentally and spiritually. This past trip I was able to accompany the Rotary club "Kharkiv Nadiya” toward the front where we supported the military and civilians with the supplies we collected this past spring. I was also able to accompany the organization of Women For a Free Ukraine as they visited the hospitals and supported the wounded soldiers. It is always an honor to accompany the brave soldiers and civilians in their constant work in the midst of this horrible war. I plan to return to Ukraine at the end of December this year."
