Amy has been offering spiritual direction for over 19 years.  She received a certificate in spiritual direction from the St. Joseph Educational Center in Des Moines, IA in 2003.  She then continued her education and received her Master’s degree in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University in 2010.  She is experienced in individual, group and retreat direction using the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.  She is also a trained supervisor of spiritual directors. She was previously Director of Adult Faith Formation at Our Lady's Immaculate Heart in Ankeny.  

After 9 years as the Director of the Creighton University Retreat Center, she returned to Ohio to assist her aging parents and spent last year at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford as the Director of Adult Ministry before retiring in May.  She continues to journey with people in spiritual direction and supervision and is on the Core Team for the Spiritual Direction Internship at the Jesuit Spiritual Center.  She enjoys dream work, SoulCollage®, playing bridge and pickle ball.  Amy has two grown children, four grandchildren in Omaha.
