Taizé prayer is an ecumenical, meditative form of worship. Participants sing short, simple, and memorable chants based on Scripture and traditional hymns.. The repetition is intended to help bring participants to a contemplative state and transitions them from the head to the heart.
There are intentional periods of silence for personal reflection and contemplation. Readings from the Bible, poetry, prose as well as other prayers and intercessions are shared as the community prays together.
Taizé prayer is accessible to all, regardless of religious tradition or background, and all are welcome to participate as much or little as they feel comfortable.
Registration is not required but appreciated
